I
am also deeply influenced by authors Carlos Castaneda - Louis L'Amour

McGaa. As well as the living planet and its sociopolitical goings
on.
I
have been playing guitar and writing music since the late seventies
when, shortly after being turned onto KISS, my brother Ron introduced
me to the electric guitar. The rest as they say is history.
After
doing stints with the cover bands FUTURE TENSE and FRACTURED MIRROR
during the early 80's. I moved to Salt Lake City in 1986 and formed
the all original Progressive metal band TYRANNY SHIFT. Frustrated
over the lack of suitable vocalists in Salt lake, we disbanded in
1988.
For
the next couple years I honed my skills as a solo artist, forced
myself to take on the vocal role and played in the improvisational
Avante Garde bands W.D.C. and DARK MATTER.
In
1990 I moved to Phoenix Arizona and began my current musical journey
which is the fusion of Rock and Metal guitar songs with New Wave
and Cinematic synth stylings. I further compliment my music with
the occasional foray into open chording groove rock.
In
recent years I have done session work with songwriter Jerod Stutsman
and the band MOST FALLEN, written and recorded a short play album
of Instrumental soundtracks titled CINEMA VOL. 1, performed solo
gigs at Salt Lake's DEADGOAT SALOON opening for the WEED and I continue
to do improv & experimental jams whenever the opportunity arises.
My
latest album IN CLOSURE runs the gamut from Metal to Folk to Industrial,
all the while maintaining a consistent vibe.
I
reside in Salt Lake City, Utah and I'm a disciple of the Southern
and Central Utah Deserts. I am currently rehearsing for live shows
and writing material for a late Summer '03 release.
